You should realize that the CFL is a little different from the NFL, and so there will be some differences from the usual Eliminizer:
1. SCHEDULING: A 'week' in the CFL runs from Thursday to Saturday, with exceptions almost every week. Furthermore, with an odd number of teams in the league, there are always bye-weeks to watch out for, and Toronto has to play twice in week six. Honestly. You will have to pay close attention to the complete CFL schedule, which is located here.
1a. WEEK TEN: In the unlikely event that the Eliminizer runs into Week 10, your selecterizer matrix will be wiped clean, and you may start selecting teams for a second time.
2. TIE GAMES: You have to pick a winner each week, and so a tie will Eliminize you. The CFL tie-breaking rules are a little different -- basically, fans are pulled from the stands to see who can kick the best-looking rouge -- and so it's best to avoid close matches.
3. PRIZE DISTRIBUTION: To keep the CFL Eliminizer in proportion with the NFL version, no entry fees will be collected and there will be exactly one (1) grand prize of a handsome plastic CFL football! Your NFL Eliminizer avatar will also indicate you as the "2005 CFL Eliminizer Champion".
4. TEAM DESIGNATIONS: Each and every team in the CFL Eliminizer shall be called the "Rough Riders", regardless of their official team name.
